"It was a wonderful experience. Both Smriti and Surender are very warm hosts. Their house is beautiful, very well maintained, clean & tastefully done up. Even though its a bed & breakfast offer, they served us lunch on the day of arrival and dinner on our last day. It was wonderful home cooked food."

Palm Court is a large modern house with many interesting design features that are merged with a sense of traditionalism, reflecting the family's past. The house is found in a peaceful colony just 4km from the airport and is lived in by Mrs. Smriti Singh, her husband Surandera and their daughter. Smriti completely designed the house, giving it features such as an open plan ground floor and an elegant mezzanine floor above, with incredibly high ceilings, tall windows and the display of family hunting trophies. She has also designed the staircase as an indoor rock water-fountain!
The family is part of the royal family of Sirmathura who are said to be descendents of Krishna. The town of Sirmathura has a fascinating heritage and Surandera can explain to guests all about Rajasthani culture; the house has several photographs of royal ancestors, a sword collection and an interesting collection of artwork. Smriti is a real perfectionist about how she runs the house and every aspect, from the linen and silk curtains to the delicious meals and homemade snacks, is without rival. She also loves children and runs an orphanage 4km away
When guests aren't sightseeing and visiting the town, there are plenty of things on offer at the homestay. If guests want to see dancing and he traditional arts there is a show that Smriti can take them to at a nearby heritage hotel and guests can go swimming at her cousin's farmhouse; there is also a nearby target shooting range. Moreover, guests are welcome to join in the celebrations of weddings that the family has been invited to, and can even be introduced to the rest of the extended family if they want! Whilst staying at Palm Court, guests are encouraged to think of it as their own home.
