"This was my first time in India. I've stayed in many places over the years and this is the best ever! The location is fantastic. The hosts were warm, friendly, incredibly hospitable and helpful. The atmosphere was homely and I was made to feel extremely welcome. The food was excellent."

sunil Saigal lives with his wife in the lower floors of the house which is interestingly decorated with ethnic items and antiques, particularly images of Ganesh the elephant God who represents a warm welcome. Sunil is an easy going character who enjoys having a drink in the evening with his guests and is dedicated to providing them with an entirely individual experience. Yoga classes are taken every morning and organic food is provided; the pagoda in the house's well tended garden is the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee and enjoy the peace of the surrounding area
On the other hand, in the vicinity is the smart South Extension shopping and business district, with several 5 star hotels and superb restaurants- the Moti Mahal restaurant is especially good. Sunil can help guests plan any sightseeing trips, as he has lived in Delhi for almost all his life. Within range are all the most prominent monuments in Delhi: India Gate is only about 3km away and the serene Lodi gardens are not far off
Each room in the homestay has a different theme, some have a classical European style, some have a particularly Eastern sense to them and each one has a different colour scheme and type of furniture. Sunil's sister owns a nearby art gallery, so there is a large collection of modern art among the more traditional pieces. As well as being very much affiliated with the western style of living, Sunil has done an enormous amount of traveling in India. He particularly enjoys mountaineering and fishing, and so he can really help foreign guests get a grasp of the country; indeed some guests have come back to the homestay several times running!
