‘Aarani’ is the home of a warm and friendly young couple, Ravi and his wife Barveena Bobby (who likes to be called Bobby). This young couple hail from the ancient and proud Badaga race, one of the oldest tribes of Ooty. Ravi and Bobby have a fascinating knowledge of the Badaga culture, cuisine and traditions. It is their dream to build a modern Badaga village in the not too distant future. Ravi runs his own business and Bobby is a home maker.
The Homestay’s accommodation has a separate entrance and occupies the first floor of Aarani. Two completely separate fully furnished two bedroom apartments, all bedrooms with bath attached offer complete privacy. Each apartment has its own lounge, dining area and kitchen. A regular home away from home. A verandah runs right around the floor providing a relaxing sit out offers some impressive views.
Ravi and Bobby love to entertain and take great pride in showing their guests around Ooty. Bobby is a wonderful cook. Guests are highly encouraged to sample her unique Badaga cuisine.
