The Sui House is one of the most intriguing and charming houses you will have the pleasure of coming across. Its eclectic and vibrant interiors seem to belong in the pages of a prestigious design magazine. The home is bedecked from corner to corner by quaint and rare artifacts from all over India. Most of these artifacts have been certified by the Archaeological Survey of India. And they’ve been collected over the years by Mr. Kumar who is a highly successful antiques dealer. He also owns the popular Indo-French restaurant, Casa Maria.
The Sui House has three splendid rooms, which are vibrant yet, at the same time, soothing. Just like the rest of the home, the bedrooms also display this mesmerising use of lively colours. Besides the lovely living room, there’s a divine open air dining area with an earthy ambience. High ceilings are the highlight of the home and greenery embraces it from all sides. The lovely home has housed many prestigious dignitaries from all over the world, like the Baroness and Baron of England, the French ambassador, members of the House of Lords, MPs from the House of Commons and many other VIPs. Even the good people from Conde Nast Johansen have stayed here. It has been featured in countless travel magazines and guide books, particularly across Europe. Besides the stunning interiors and warm hospitality, this homestay offers many unique things, which others cannot even conceive. One such offering is a breakfast prepared by a chef from the Taj group of hotels.
The home is located just outside Jew Town. It’s a few kilometres from the 16th century Synagogue, the Dutch Palace, and the spice and antiques shops. The beach and Chinese fishing nets are a short drive away. With such a glorious array of experiences on offer, there is no wonder, why Sui house is considered one the premium properties in Kerala.
