The Johneys originally are from Pala in Kottayam district and Jiji's (the host) father settled in Wayanad years ago.
This plantation home stay has two guest rooms are very basic and earthy which suits the ambience around. However, the views from both the rooms are breathtaking. The verandah from the room is a perfect place to lounge and have a hot cup of coffee from the beans grown in the plantation itself.
If you are of the adventurous kind, this place has lots to offer on its plate. Jiji will be more than happy to escort you on plantation treks/walks in the area and you could also choose from multiple other trekking options and a drive in the jeep to see the place.
Jiji's wife is a wonderful cook and you can feast on some exotic delicacies of the region served traditionally in a Banana leaf.
