After staying and working in various places in India and abroad as marketing professionals, Viju and Nimi now live with their two dogs (Jomo and Viva) in their ancestral home in Coorg. As hosts of Elephant corridor since 2005, they offer guests their warm hospitality, interesting experiences and a variety of cuisines. The guests have never-ending options for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert, the reason being Nimi's interest and expertise in cooking. An avid bike rider, Viju can take his guests round the estate and let them deal with the fresh breeze as they hold on to the bike.
The homestay has three spacious rooms, two on ground floor and one on first floor, with attached bathrooms. For those guests, who like to cook their own food there is even an option of a separate open kitchen. The ambience provides a comfortable homely stay through comfortable cushions, hammock, magazines, board games, wind chimes and small miniatures in and around the guest rooms. The unique point of the homestay is its dining area- Diner Gazebo. It is a hexagonally structured dining area with poles and a traditional Coorg roof holding it down. It is an attractive set-up with beautiful gardening around which makes it look like a part of the nature.
