The homestay, on the second floor of the residential building is an attractively designed abode. The entrance of the house, on the right leads the guests to a huge drawing room with a small balcony attached to it. Other than the communal space, it has three spacious double bedded rooms with well equipped attached bathrooms. The shades of brown, rust, orange and green used in the decor give an earthy feel to the decor of the house. Modern and traditional wall paintings, prints and artefacts, basically glass and ceramics by local artists and craftsmen decorate the rooms. Cane beds, lamps, wooden furniture and marble flooring in warmly lit rooms make one feel comfortable and at home.
Serene homestay, situated in a prime location in South Delhi is closer to all the main markets including Connaught Place, Hauz Khas market, Delhi Haat, Janpath and others. The close by Hauz Khaz market is famous for high fashion garments, carpets, old silver antiques, artefacts and furniture.
