Mahindra Homestay are committed to protecting your privacy and security. We ensure that any information we obtain and use will always be held, used and transferred in compliance with all applicable data protection rules.
We provide your information to third party accommodation and service providers (i.e. the homestay room owners) when you reserve travel services through the Mahindra Homestay.
We will not pass on your details to anyone other than these necessary associates without first obtaining approval from. On all pages where information is collected we specifically describe what information is required in order to provide you with the service you have requested.
We do collate statistics about Homestay room rents and other commercial information, which we pass on to trusted third parties to assist us in improving the service we provide to you. However, none of this information identifies individuals.
What data / Information do we collect?
Mahindra Homestay only collects personally identifiable information that you voluntarily provide to us:

1. The booking process
It is necessary to collect your personal information here to process your booking. We may collect your name, email address, telephone number etc.
We are then able to confirm your booking with the relevant Homestay owner. The data is stored in our back office administration and may be recalled for internal administration matters, such as reporting or responding to enquiries.
We will also collect your credit card details - number, expiry date and other relevant details such as security number, your name etc. This information is held in our back end server, protected by powerful Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology.
In both cases, information is provided by you voluntarily to Mahindra Homestay to complete the transaction.
By volunteering your information here we will not contact you for any matter other than the reservation itself. We do not use details here to send you our subscribed services.

2. Email subscription
Mahindra Homestay offers visitors opportunities to receive regular emails on an opt-in basis.
You can unsubscribe from our regular emails at any time by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email you receive from us.
Cookies
Mahindra Homestay use both permanent and session cookies to keep your website experience running smoothly.
Security
Transactions are secure on the Mahindra Homestay website. Each transaction is protected, encrypted by SSL technology, meaning that every message is ‘scrambled’ once a request is submit and travels over the internet. We then collect this information using secure password protected areas. We do not operate bookings over the phone, and so need this high level security.
Notwithstanding the above, in spite of all reasonable and bonafide protection taken by Mahindra Homestay, if there is any loss or misuse or unauthorized use of the personal information by any third parties, while Mahindra Homestay will not be responsible for the same, it will cooperate fully with you for any necessary action against the wrong doer, however, at your cost.
